About This Document
This document introduces the reader to the system concepts of PRTG Network Monitor and explains how to set up the software to achieve the best results. You will learn how to plan your monitoring setup, how to set up your sensors, reports, notifications, maps and user accounts.
This document does not explain each and every edit field or button of the user interface. Detailed information is included in PRTG's web interface itself in the form of short contextual help texts and hints. Also, this document is not a technical in-depth documentation of file formats, APIs and other background information.
